Are There any Dangers in not Supervising my Children on the Internet?

Just as there are dangers in not supervising the watching of television or videos, or the amount of time spent on the phone, there are dangers in not supervising children on the Internet.

Some of the problems that may arise include:

  • Children spending too much time on the computer
  • Children exploring inappropriate sites
  • Inappropriate communication with others online
  • Children experimenting in illegal or dangerous activity such as file sharing or bomb making

Other more specific problems may also arise with your family.
